Fear not, there is the option of Snapchat Ads platform. This platform is useful if your target customer segment is Millenials and GenZ, as is the case with the e-commerce co that I worked with recently.

218 Million daily active users, 10 Billion video views, 78% of 18-24 year-olds use Snap regularly (Millenial/GenZ). Age group 34 and under are regular Snapchatters and they open their app upto 30 times a day- that is strong engagement! How many in users the UAE? 2 Million plus! 76% of snap users are online shoppers.

Snapchat Ads platform has a much more intuitive interface than FB ads and great for e-commerce (pulls the product images and prices directly from Shopify /other e-commerce engines). Having used FB/Google ads platforms, I can vouch for the ease of use of the platform.

Snapchatters expect more authentic, fresh and fun content. The formats that work well for e-commerce: Story and Collections. There is relatively less competition on the platform, and the Ad reviews are more relaxed than on Facebook.


I have seen numbers as low as $2.9 CPM compared to $4+ for Instagram, and Facebook is $5+. That's not bad! If your target segment fits, give this platform a try!
